ENJOY SACRED BAROQUE MUSIC
Patrick Debrabandere is artist in residence at the Klein Begijnhof in Ghent. His new music ensemble also finds the Klein Begijnhof the setting for singing and making music, to offer the public a total experience of vocal and instrumental religious baroque music. This is in the Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-Presentatiekerk, the Baroque church of the Klein Begijnhof, which is part of the World Heritage Site.
Singers, musicians and the decor reinforce each other; they lift each other to a higher level and invite the audience to immerse themselves in the glorious atmosphere and environment.
Ensemble Gloriosus also spreads its wings beyond the national borders. The ensemble performed at La Joyeuse Entrée, a music festival due for its first edition this summer in Montréal, France, where it is also artist in residence from now on.
